UniFirst Always Deliver

UNIFIRST ALWAYS DELIVER CAMPAIGN

For the first time in 85 years, UniFirst is putting a spotlight on the people that go out and get things done. The people that always deliver.

This campaign was brought to life by the real workers of UniFirst to showcase their hard work and dedication day in and day out. From writing storyboards and creating moodboards to seeing this premiere during March madness, it was so fun and rewarding to work on ‘Always Deliver’ from inception to finish.

With the creation of the Always Deliver campaign, came the opportunity to brand ads, stationery, and much more to supplement the video. And what better way to do that than with a custom mark that could be leveraged across materials.

The U-Mark, derived from the U of the logo, is called the Mark of Unbeatable Service (U-Mark for short) and it is a signal to customers that at UniFirst, they continually push forward and come through, to offer the best uniforms and best service in the business.

Another fun creation from this time was the evolution of the the little grid that we used to house the title of a catalog or the name of a worker in our ads— to later be called the “U-Stripe”. It was inspired by the workers that leave their names and/or initials, as well as a date, on the bottom of paper bag products (like a paper lunch bag or the bottom of some Trader Joe’s bags). We liked it because it felt like another way to honor the UniFirst worker and the hard work they do every day.
